Troop 199 is the boys’ troop under Unit 199. We help young men build leadership, outdoor skills, character, and brotherhood through teamwork, service, and fun. From camping and hiking to volunteering and merit badges, Troop 199B develops confident, capable leaders.

What We Do In Troop 199B
- Attend weekly troop meetings in the ICM Banquet Hall
- Complete requirements for rank advancement in their quest to achieve the rank of Eagle
- Go to camps and hikes to learn valuable outdoor skills
- Volunteer for charities and organizations to give back to their community.

Rank Advancement in Scouting America
In Scouting America, rank advancement is how Scouts grow in skills, leadership, and character. Each rank represents new challenges learned, goals achieved, and progress toward becoming confident, capable young men. The final rank, Eagle rank, is the culmination of a Scout’s journey and is only earned after multiple camping nights, service hours, completed merit badges, and a concluding Eagle Project benefitting the Scout’s community.
